Shop Spot: PersunMallAU

This month's featured shop is PersunMallAU, a new division of PersunMall, specialising in formal dresses online (australia). They have a great selection of anything from prom dresses to bridesmaids dresses online.

Some formal styles are hard to wear, but not if you shop from PersunMallAU. Their dresses are feminine, youthful, stylish and versatile. There is a great range of fabrics and cuts and for every style, you can choose the color you want it in!! The website is easy to navigate and you can quickly find a dress for any occasion! There are hundreds to choose from! Maybe you prefer a classical silhouette, long and flowy and ultra-feminine dress, or a modern, minimalist, lady-like inspired by the haute-couture runways. Whichever it is, this is the place to find something flattering. Your friends will envy you for your great style and looks. It’s like a girly heaven!

But why not check the website and see for yourself? You will be welcomed by professional, clean photos and very pleasant colors that just pop at you! It's so trendy! After all, we need or fill of formal outfits too, for that special cocktail reception or romantic dinner. With their versatility, you can find some great party pieces that you can then recycle into spring break dresses or clubbing dresses. Wherever you choose to wear them, you will feel like a princess! Or even better, as the queen of the night or day. A formal dress will give any event a special meaning.

I already have my favorites, some beautiful, sultry gowns in a relaxed chiffon empire style with a sash, perfect for a victorian inspired picnic in the spring woods!

Conspiracies of a Lady: The First Bloom

Despite the abnormal cold weather for this time of the year, some blooms have dared to finally show up. On the other hands, my eagerness to dress for spring has landed me with a runny nose, so lesson learned there. It might look like spring, but only from behind the windows. So dress warm and be patient, winter can't last that much longer now. After all, we were told global warming is coming, not the ice age.

So, what is your weather prognosis? Are we finally going to have some real spring time? Or are we to wait until next year, maybe?

Conspiracies of a Lady: Our Past Is Made of Spring

The weather just doesn't want to make it easy on us this year, does it? Snow and frost in late March, people coming down with flu and cloudy skies almost every day are not the stuff of fairy tale Easters. The poor Easter Bunny will probably have its tail frozen!

So I have decided to wear a springy outfit to invite Spring in. I mean, it's about time, don't you think, Spring? Have you lost your maps this year? We're here and all begging you to hurry up!

The Special Souvenirs

I think I am getting too used to this lifestyle of globetrotter (well, Europe-trotter really) to the point I get scared of the possibility of soon settling down. As much of a stress and hassle as it is to move around all the time, with just a suitcase of things for the next month and never able to plan too far ahead, it's also great way to feel alive and free.

But as I'm a bit of a ditz, I tend to forget stuff when packing and end up with one sock in France and its pair in UK, or thinking I left my red croc handbag in France when it might actually be in Romania (at least I hope it is, I still haven't found it in France or UK, so that only leaves one place...that or the hotel I stayed at last summer at the seaside, which is the last photo I have with me wearing it...oops!). Which is also why I always feel like I don't have enough clothes and accessories, although my closets burst open with them. That plus my love of pretty designs plus my bargain hunter's eye result in me always returning with the bags heavier. Full of new things of course!

And because I just got home after 12 hours of journey, 2 trains, 2 undergrounds, 1 coach and a long walk through London that left me with nasty blisters, today I'll only show you some of the things I bought on this turn. And hopefully tomorrow I will be recovered enough to edit the photos of the last outfit shoot and post them here.

Sculpted heels from Schuh, in my opinion the perfect mix of Baroque and Gothic, those sculpted scroll heels are killers! And only costed me 5 pounds as they were second hand, but they are almost as new! These will be my "mourning widow throwing a tea party" shoes.

Three CK nail polishes: Madly Mauve, Navy Sparkle and Tutu. Only 2 pounds a pop thanks to the wonderful makeup corner in The Original Factory Shop.

A golden mantelpiece rococo clock I found in the antiquities shop for just 14 pounds and glazed over to revive the color. The photo here is just one from Google because I don't have a photo of it yet. It has roses instead of the shells/leafs of the one in the photo and also an aged varnish effect that lets snippets of red paint show through the gold here and there. So I guess this means my new room will need more red.

This was actually a gift and I am madly in love with it (*wink wink*)! Victorian Cameo Necklace by Michal Negrin.

So I actually didn't go quite as overboard this time. I also have 2 new magazines courtesy of Eurostar, Harper's Bazaar and Houses&Gardens. I have reverted to traveling by train as much as I can to avoid flying. Airplanes still terrify me!

Conspiracies of a Lady: Emerald Dream

It is just my luck that for the third time I want to go to a fashion week I end up having to leave. During the London FW, I was in France and 1 day before Paris FW, I had to leave to UK for an interview. But, fingers crossed it was worth it and I did well, it will be another month of chewing my nails before I find out. So to keep my spirits high, I embraced some relaxing green. I love emerald green and am quite happy that it has finally become popular enough to make it easier to find.

eFoxCity necklace, Zara asymmetric skirt, PersunMall bag, Texto victoriana boots, Accessorize  art deco ring

The lovely necklace that completed my look was kindly sponsored by eFoxCity. If you are not familiar with them, they have a wonderful array of clothing and accessories. You can find things like cheap party dresses with many styles inspired by celebrities and popular prom dresses to turn you into the queen of the party! Just look at these beauties, I'm in love with them:

And for the brides to be, how about escaping the cold weather for an exotic getaway with one of these lovely beach wedding dresses, wouldn't that be an unforgettable day/night?
